Have questions?
How do I keep my Harvest Board looking great?
Our Beeswax Paste is the perfect way to keep your Harvest Board nourished, protected and looking its best. Apply it as regularly as you like, or whenever you notice the timber starting to look or feel a little dry. Simply work a small amount into the timber, allow it to absorb, then buff away any excess. Regular care helps maintain the beautiful natural grain and rich character of the acacia for years to come.
Is the Harvest Board really made from one piece of timber?
Yes. Each Harvest Board is crafted from one solid slab of premium acacia timber. There are no laminated strips, joined blocks, resins or glues holding the board together.
How big is the Harvest Board?
It measures 50 × 35 cm (19.7" × 13.8") and is a substantial 3 cm (1.18") thick. We chose this size to give you plenty of room for everyday prep, carving roasts and entertaining, while still being practical to store.
Does the board have any coatings?
No. The Harvest Board has no synthetic coatings, resins or varnishes. After sanding, the timber is simply treated with mineral oil to nourish and protect the natural acacia. For ongoing care, we recommend an occasional application of our beeswax paste to condition the timber and help keep your Harvest Board looking beautiful for years to come.
How do I care for my Harvest Board?
Hand wash it after use, wipe away excess water and allow it to dry thoroughly. Do not put it in the dishwasher or leave it soaking in water. An occasional application of our beeswax helps nourish and protect the timber.
Can I use it for meat and roasts?
Absolutely. Its generous surface is designed for everything from everyday chopping to carving a family roast or preparing multiple cuts of meat. The routed juice groove also helps contain juices while carving.
Can I use it as a serving board?
Yes. The natural acacia grain makes every board beautiful enough to go straight from kitchen prep to the table. Load it with cheeses, antipasto, fruit or your favourite spread and use the whole board as an entertaining platter.
Is every Harvest Board exactly the same?
No, and that’s part of what makes it special. Because it is made from natural solid timber, variations in grain, colour, knots and character are expected. Each Harvest Board has its own naturally unique appearance.
