Have questions?
What is Wattle & Wombat Natural Beeswax made from?
Our specially developed wood care blend is made with natural beeswax, vegetable oil, lemon essential oil and vitamin E. We created our own formula when we first started Wattle & Wombat to naturally nourish and protect timber.
Is your beeswax food-safe?
Yes! Our Natural Beeswax Wood Care Paste is designed to be food-safe when used as directed, making it ideal for chopping boards, serving boards and wooden kitchen utensils. It's made with simple, natural ingredients.
What timber products can I use it on?
Our beeswax is perfect for chopping boards, wooden spoons, serving boards, timber handles and other unfinished or previously oiled wooden items. It helps nourish dry timber and enhance its beautiful natural grain.
What sizes are available, and how often should I use it?
Our Natural Beeswax is available in 50ml, 100ml and 200ml jars. Reapply whenever your timber begins to look dry or dull. Regular care helps keep your favourite wooden pieces looking beautiful for years to come.
How do I apply Wattle & Wombat Natural Beeswax?
Our natural beeswax softens as it's stirred and massaged. The more you mix it, the runnier and easier to spread it becomes! Simply stir with a paddle pop stick, spoon or other clean utensil until you reach your preferred consistency.
Using the free sponge included, apply a thin, even layer to clean, dry timber, working it into the grain. Allow it to absorb, then buff away any excess with a soft cloth.
Store in a cool, dry place and the beeswax will naturally firm up again, ready for next time.
